I started to read this comic recently. The only reason I didn't read it before was because of the cover page...it kinda creeped me out lol

But the story is SOO GOOOD!! :D
I love the drawing, it's so easy to distinguish the characters, and the action scenes are easy to follow, the drama is beautiful (if sometimes cheesy), and...it's awesome!

The beggar episode kinda reminded me of a combination of xmen and oceans lol

I loved the series as a whole but absolutely hated the last arc, the ending just felt way too rushed to me...

actually it was a bit for some reason I can't remember... but I've read somewhere there some time restraints and such so he couldn't do everything he wanted too...

well at least there's season 2 to wait for :)
(its still not out since the author/artist is working on another project at the moment but there's lots of images he's been posting on his blog)

Ha, I remember marathoning Trace and then feeling so frustrated at the end because of the kind-of cliffhanger. Still good though -- if I ever wrote a story, I wish all my characters could be made of as much awesome as Mr. Beggar and co. Mr. Beggar actually reminded me of a much, much darker, more grief ridden version of Kotetsu from Tiger and Bunny. He loves his family but lost them, is a superpowered person in his thirties, has this odd and lovable dad instinct towards almost everyone, and is just generally made of win. They both even have young daughters that they love to dote on. The way that the two different worlds they live in handle super powers really makes a huge difference though. Mr. Beggar definitely got the short end of the stick in that deal.

I've recently found that Trace is being published in Japan. It went through some interesting changes. Such as, Tae Eun is now "Akane" and Ghang Gwon is now "Yuu". Plus all the art as been redrawn for the manga format and is now black and white.

You can check the first two chapters here.
