ahhhh now the possessiveness and jealousy starts to pop up.

well always on Jung's part, but this is new for In Ho.
Its quite exciting if you ask me.

And landlords son is being suuuuuuuuuuuper Creepy!
Tank god Jun is with her now, I know she is a fictional character but I feel better for our little Sul now.

Notice how Jung catches Jun's hand when the latter tries to touch Sul. Jung in full boyfriend mode is not to be taken lightly :)

When In Ho talks about Sul, Jung suddenly asks why In Ho calls Sul "dog fur," and demands that he stops doing that. As In Ho jokes, "Ah? You call dog fur a dog fur - what else could I call her? Naturally curly hair?" Jung coldly responds: "If I tell you to stop, stop."

Jung has also compared Sul/Sul's hair to dog fur- he even bought the matching phone charms! Maybe he's annoyed that someone else has made the same comparison as he has...perhaps Sul's 'dog fur'-iness was something Jung found really endearing...so of course he can't stand In Ho bandying this nickname about!

I'm thinking Stalkersshi is about to up his game...

OMG, I really thought that last chapter was one of the best chapters ever but this one…lol I laughed so hard.
by the way, Jung was the one carrying Sul and he was in full-boyfriend mood, that's how Jun realized he was his noona's boyfriend, I guess :P

Jun has unexpectedly good timing, with the stalker and all. I'm starting to wonder if Sul's dad has real problems though. I mean, first he gets all hypocritical about Sul losing that full scholarship, then he gets all grumpy because his business fell through, and it seems like he isn't even interested in the new business at all. Now, he strikes Jun because he quit. Okay, after all that money that was invested I would be a little angry too but hitting him because of it? Seems a bit much but I guess family dynamics are all different. This is coming from someone who was raised in a household that never resorted to violence, except maybe a spanking when we were young.

I've noticed that in manhwa and manga depictions of parents striking their children are fairly common, albeit usually occasioned by huge mess-ups on the part of the child involved, so it could be a different-family-dynamics-thing. But even so, Sul's dad is letting his personal problems affect the way he interacts with his family, which IMO is always a bad thing. (I come from a family where we were spanked, too, but I wouldn't call that violence -- my parents were very loving, and had a rule about not disciplining a child while they were angry.)

xD xD xD Nerd. Nerd! I take back what I said before, I may not dislike Sul's little brother that much after all!

HAHAH! How could he joke claiming that Sul threw all over Jung's hair? That was really mean! x'D

Omg! Now that he's here, we can start comparing the Sul/Jun siblings to the In Ho/In Ha siblings! That may turn out interesting. You know, I want to see Jun and In Ha meet now, just out of curiosity at how it'd turn out. :o

Yeah, that nerd comment was hilarious! I also thought her brother was acting snotty, but he doesn't seem so bad. It would be good if he really came home b/c he felt his overseas tuition was too much on the family, and not b/c he failed. Now that I know the bruises are from his father and not from getting in a fight with his peers, I think better of him. But it makes their father seem even worse. I'm sure he's really angry at himself for not having enough money to eaily support their education. But the reason he takes it out on his kids and his wife (not helping out properly at the shop) is b/c he's a jerk!

I also loved the part about their hair! So In Ho really does look like Jude Law, including the thinning hair! Sul wasn't just trying to embarrass him about his looks way back then, she was also trying to take a jab at his hair since he always teases her.

I don't think Jung was teasing Sul about her hair with the puppy/bear keychain. I think he was clueless and genuinely loves her 'fluffy' hair. I loved that he told In Ho to stop! But as someone said, he may have been motivated by jealousy that In Ho had a pet name for her.

In Ho really did look jealous watching Jung carry Sul. But it was hard to tell if it's b/c he actually wants Sul, or if he was just studying Jung's 'weird' behaviour. Jung seems genuinely concerned about Sul and he's very gentle with her. He stops talking as soon as she mumbles, b/c he doesn't want to disturb her. Maybe In Ho is just shocked that Jung seems to have real feelings, and he's also trying to determine if they are deep enough to be worthy of Sul. Maybe she's really like a little sister to him.

I like that Jun was mad at Sul for living in a place with so many burglaries! He's caring about her and dissapproving at the same time. Only family can do that so smoothly, lol!

Quote:
As they walk in silence, In Ho suddenly asks, "Do you really think that you've done nothing wrong to me?"
Jung asks back "...Then, what about you?"

Oh, this made me all squishy inside! We are getting closer to the truth! More importantly, Jung and In Ho are getting closer to the truth. I'm sure there was another person or group in their high school that manipulated them. I don't know if their goal was to drive Jung and In Ho apart, or just to use that to cover up injuring In Ho, but I'm sure they exist!

Spanking when a child does wrong is fairly common in Eastern Asian cultures, but it really all depends on the family (I think I've really only been spanked once by my parents). Hitting your children when they're older is not as common, because adults realize that their children are old enough to take care of their own lives. They try to talk much more often - but it still happens. Sul's father strikes me as the type to spank his children when they were little, somehow.

My parents were hitting us, too (my three brothers and me), but only when we did some really stupid things! I know that they only did it when we shocked them with our ridiculous actions out of concern. Though it is still not an excuse to hit a being that can't fight back at all or defend itself!

If I remember correctly we already saw Sul's dad hitting his son in a flashback. It had something to do with his grades or something similar, they were wearing their school uniforms, if I remember correctly. But I forgot which chapter it was already.

@ Yuko - Thanks for the synopsis!

I like Jun-bro. He cares about his sister. Good Job, Good Job!

The Dad seems to be going through a rough patch. He wasn't exactly warm before, and I think that his reaction to the financial and career difficulties is causing him to misbehave. His son ditching school made him mad (mad at son's capricious behavior) , but it also reminded him that he is not able to easily afford his son's expensive tuition, etc. This makes him realize again that he is a failure as the big bread-winner of the family. It seems like he wanted his son to succeed & become the winner that he is not; living vicariously through his son?
