I was Wondering if the author went on break, since the story was moved to the completed section. So I came here to check.

2 months huh? Well at least it wasn't nearly 6 months, like it was for Kubera (god, that was traumatizing xD ).

Still, two months, after they finally got together is pretty much nerve-wracking, too. Six months is a mini heart attack for me, and those magazines that get released only once a year are the most horrible invention of publishers!

there are such magazines ? isn't once a year ummm a little too long a period of time ?

For me totally, and probably also for a lot of other readers, but it seems the publishers have fun torturing us, haha!
No seriously, I think the reason is just that the authors don't have enough free time to publish more regularly, so you have to cope with that and just appreciate it that they publish their works at all!

There's a number of manga titles that are published in both quarterly and bi-monthly publications, that as online readers a lot of people just don't realize it. Often times the scanlation groups translate and release them incrementally (there are multiple chapters normally) so the gaps aren't as obvious.

Yeah, the hiatus on Kubera was a long one, it's not unheard of though. I follow an older title called Glass Mask and the author has literally taken off multiple years and come back to the story afterwards. Two months for Orange Marmalade should pass pretty quickly, everybody deserves a break.

atleast we know when it's going to come out again, for example Miura Kentaro likes to say that his next chapter comes out in fall ..... which means we will most probably wait till late november or even start of december ! And all he did this year is 2 chapters of story and 3 of flashback ....... well but i don't think I would start reading a series that come out so rarely now, even if it was masterpiece o.0 I can enjoy average series that come out more frequently more...... I just noticed that already a week passed by without OM so only 7 to go ! let's drink up and wake up when the next one comes out .....

100% agreed, with OM, it's just a holiday or whatever and it's scheduled so we should be pretty secure in knowing when it's coming back (and two weeks down, actually, since the last chapter, so does that mean only 6 more weeks? hopefully?).

Yeah, having an author who doesn't publish regularly is bad, but it gets even worse for us having to hope for translations on top of that. I think I've seen five different scan groups on Glass Mask and it's like 10 volumes behind and still ongoing.

When will be the next chapter released? I already lost count of the passed weeks since the break started.

About a month, on the 22nd
