I've never heard of Internet stalking, lol. I'm sure it is possible. I keep my personal info separate, but I'm sure there is always a way to figure out who I am and where I live. People can buy that info. But I don't think that's what people would be after on this site since I'm far, far away. They'd be more likely to try and hack into my personal accounts to get credit card info.
Facebook is more worrisome for me. I hear horror stories about how people post updates on it sometimes and how they go home to find they've been robbed the next day because they had their address on there. I make it almost impossible to find me on FB. Only if you know my closest friends can you add me. And the people who aren't my closest friends like the ones who've reconnected from high school, I make it so they are 'limited profiles only,' meaning they can't see my updates at all.
Generally, I'm not a very trusting person. Not that everyone is like that, and I've never been stalked, but I've had my fair share of creepers. If you don't know what I mean, it's like a guy who gives you goosebumps. He calls you constantly, leaves lots of texts messages, but doesn't actually come to your house to stalk you. Oh, and he leaves really creepy voicemails where you only hear breathing. *Shivers*
Okay, enough with my tangent
