How 'bout F.E.A.R? I don't know if it's a video game but I think it is. It's really good! :lol: Bastion and Prince of Persia, too! :D

A friend of mine's working at 1st Day Studios as a QA and he worked on the F.E.A.R project ^___^ I never played it myself but he's been pushing me to try it.

Bastion's got a similar art style to Vanillaware, I do own it but I haven't tried it yet. I love most of Vanillaware games though, Grim Grimoire is amazing fun (slightly unbalanced and difficult but fun). I think they re-released the game on PSN.

Which Prince of Persia are you referring to? I've played the really short one just titled Prince of Persia (2008 game). It was pretty good, although also pretty confusing at times. I feel that it dragged on a bit so I never finished it. >___<;;

Try F.E.A.R! It's kind of scary and it's a suspense game. Haha! :lol:

Yep, Grim Grimoire is really fun like Bastion :D :D

The Prince of Persia with Elika is the one I am referring to. The one where Elika needs to beat Ahriman :D :D Yeah, I think that's what you're talking about! :D

Reviving a slightly old topic.

Mhm 'kay. You people can insult me all you want but I AM SO HYPED UP FOR THE RELEASE OF FINAL FANTASY XIII-2. My god, I can't express my excitement in words. The ending of the original Final Fantasy 13 killed me - it was all so bittersweet and I initially hated Square Enix for even thinking of ruining that beautiful ending for a craptastic sequel (we all know what happened to FFX-2...), but the new trailers of FF13-2 and the renders of the returning characters has definitely got me in for it now. And the soundtrack pieces out so far sound awesome *sigh of respect* I am on board the hypetrain, ready to leave the station...

Square Enix really knows how to get my money...
Yeah. So that was me ranting about video games.

Professor Layton VS his new Phoenix Wright game that is announced in the decision making, planning only to 3D. So, I am very sad, because in fact, I only have one DS Lite, I really hope this game.

Totally gonna jump into this thread here. I'm a huge nerdy gamer guy.
I'm really into stealth, action, RPGS, and strategic games. Some of these include, Metal Gear, Splinter Cell, Legend Of Zelda (own all of them except Skyword Sword), Metroid, Shin Megami Tensei, the Mario & Luigi series, Patapon, and Fire Emblem.
Those are probably my top series. And for all those Square Enix junkies, try the Parasite Eve series. A lovely RPG.

FFXIII-2 looks interesting, I'm not completely sure yet if I should preorder it or wait till it comes out and the prices drop. From what I've heard, they use timewarp as an excuse to everything wrong or right in the game/story. Not a killer problem...I think the more pressing matter is that I don't have the money to spend on it right now XD

I want to play the Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton game, is it coming to the states? I've got a 3DS, actually, I've got most of the consoles and handhelds currently out...except for PSVita cause there's not many games on the PS handhelds that I care for and it doesn't have a slot for UMD games.

I've got Metal Gear 1-4, never finished them though...dude, the first one was hard @___@;; I've played Splinter Cell but not a huge fan. I prefer to play some like TF2 and Halo where I can blast things rather than sneaking around them. Legend of Zelda games are fun but can get repetitive (I own most of them). Shin Megami Tensei's got some really amazing games and some fairly crappy ones but I've enjoyed the story in most of them so far. I'm not very good at Mario but Patapon's pretty fun. Fire Emblem's definitely one of my favorite strategy genre. Played most of SE games except for their Eidos branch...I'm still not used to seeing Tifa and Tomb Raider together on a cover. I really want them to bring over Sigma Harmonics but it'll probably remain wishful thinking T___T Never played Parasite Eve but it also doesn't seem like a series I might enjoy.

Looking forwards: Fortune Summoner, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2, Rune Factory 4, Hakuoki (Otome game alert!!! XD), Guild Wars 2, Blade and Soul, and I guess FFXIII-2 but I'm more hoping for FFvXIII.

I really want that game, but I sadly don't have a 3DS (sob). If it does come out in English, I might consider getting the 3DS, because I am just that obsessed about anything Phoenix Wright. And speaking of Phoenix Wright, why is it taking so long for the 5th installment in the series..... They mentioned it a long time ago and still no sign...

lucky nychiii ;____; I want a PSP because I want to play Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Persona 3 Portable so bad. I'm hoping that Persona 5 is going to be on PS3, because if it's not, I will be so sad...

On the other hand, I've also spoiled myself with the FFXIII-2 ending (augh, couldn't help it, I had to) and... I was utterly disappointed with the ending. But the game itself seemed great so I think I'll still be getting it. Just not as excited for the ending as I was...At least I know what to expect now...

lol, technically the 3DS and half the consoles are my fiance's XD we're both huge gamers but what's his is mine and what's mine is his so we're good. I've got about 300+ games on Steam (across 2 accounts, so counting doubles we'd be around 400+) plus shelves of console and handheld stuff dating back to dreamcast and gameboys @___@;; not Atari old but I do feel old.

I do want the new Phoenix Wright game too, I love that series! <3 replayed it a bunch of times. I also love Ghost Trick and hope they make another one that's got similar gameplay! It was an awesome game. And enjoyed The World Ends With You, which I've got a feeling won't have a sequel. I want Sigma Harmonix pretty badly. I might have to brush up on my Chinese cause I've managed to find a Chinese translation patch to it as it'll never be translated into English due to the way the text is laid out >___<;;

I don't think I'll be going backwards on the Persona cycle. Although Persona 3 was entertaining, it was also a horrible grind. I like the day to day events but the dungeons are repetitive and dull. I preferred Catherine cause its gameplay is awesome.

I haven't looked up too much on FFXIII-2 so don't spoil anything XD but I am still deciding whether I want to get it...

Augh, I've been looking for The World Ends With You since forever, but it's out of stock (even the second hand ones) in all my local gamestores. Eventually gave up... maybe I'll get it online someday.

I've actually wanted to play Catherine, until I played it at friend's house and couldn't get past the first few rounds. Yes, I'm dumb. I realized that I'm just going to fail at it... I'm also not a big fan of horror, so the horror aspects of it just creeped me out. Gonna give me nightmares.

I tend to like Persona 4 better as a whole because of the more light hearted feel to it. And the humor.

So, my brother just got Assassin's Creed (or whatever it was called, there are like 4 games in the series already or something), and I have to admit, it's pretty interesting.
