Still out of topic but it is to help someone :), look for TOEFL IBT programmes to prepare to the test on some torrent search engine (i use isohunt because piratebay is innaccessible in italy) soo that u can improve in a sistematic way, if in a video u hear accent change video, just look for television/cinema videos, where the accent is totaly neutral. Anyway the best way to learn english is to find a realy nice girl with whom u can only speak in english, and u will see the improvments  (scientificaly proved method :) )

And since this is the manga section and since u speak french u remembered me when i used to try to read french comics when i was child in my many travels to France :). Soo the manga to advice is Dreamland . Even if for me is just a bit sad how Asiatic comics are totaly destroying local european ones, (here in italy we had/have great comics, dylan dog (totaly different from movie), nathan never, sturmtruppen, etcc.. etc.. a very prolific variety of comics, same for france). I would like to advice The "eternauta" too, but it is too old for ur tastes probably (from 1957 Argentina, found it there, i am not that old just 21years old) realy hard to find online, but is a piece of art for the ones that knows spanish, is heavy sci-fi seinen from the 60thies, one miliar stone like the anime " a grave for the fireflies"

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo Kotowaru! which is being scanlated by Extras [yeah, the name is incredibly long] might help a bit. I haven't actually seen this anime/light novel/manga but perhaps Spice and Wolf. Even if they don't help, they should at least entertain you.

3 titles for the same manga  ,,,,,,, it's clear that you'r a big fan
thanks for the suggestion, it'll be the next in my list

Actually, "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo Kotowaru!" is one title. The manga is an adaptation of a novel and there are one or two other manga adaptations, thus the extended title to differentiate between them.
Also, I just watched Spice & Wolf season 1 [I recommend Ayako's release], OVA and Season 2. There's a lot of economics talk but, like the above manga, I doubt it's what you're looking for. Still, it's an awesome series :D

Oh man, I love Spice and Wolf. I found out about it from MAL's annual top 100 anime list, and at first I was really put off because of the picture of a naked wolf girl they would always use to promote it. Talk about misleading. I finally got around to checking it out after reading a lot of great reviews on it -- silly first impressions. I'm glad that a lot more light novels are getting animated now after the Haruhi Suzumiya success. The dialogue tends to be better written, and narrative/story is usually stronger too. Durarara, Spice and Wolf, Baccano!, Baka to Test, Kino's Journey, and Bakemonogatari were all great animes that came from light novels. And this totally does not have anything to do with manga, does it? (sorry)

Don't forget Full Metal Panic! ;D [And a bunch of legendary stuff I haven't seen, e.g. Kara no Kyoukai]
Spice and Wolf had been on my list for about a year and I finally went out and found the fansub I wanted. The chances of a third season of Spice & Wolf look slim as after two years they probably would've announced it by now :( [I am SERIOUSLY upset by this fact]
So I'll probably end up buying the light novels during my soon to come uni days.

I know that not everyone follows this series, but I'm just expressing a bit of fannish happiness here over the newest chapter of Kimi Ni Todoke. Man, I really gotta admire the mangaka of that series, which is technically shoujo -- in a genre populated by cliches, what in real life would be unhealthy relationships, and just facepalm inducing actions in general, Shiina Karuho goes ahead and portrays young teenagers in a sweet, realistic way that emphasizes taking things slow and being honest with yourself. I can honestly say that I don't hate any of her characters, annoying as they might be sometimes, because I can see real people that I know reflected in them.

At first I found the premise extremely unattractive for kimi no todoke ;) . Recently, though, I've considered reading that series a few times. Eventually I decided to pick it up but i couldn't find downloads for the first few volumes.

Awww, that's to bad. Actually, the tankobon is translated and sold by Viz Media, but if you want to check it out before buying, Mangafox and Mangareader.net host it too.

Hey, in what order do you guys usually read anime and manga? Manga first, then anime? Anime and then manga? Just manga? Usually I won't watch an anime of a manga I've already read, while I'm more willing to check out the manga of an anime I like.

if I read the manga I won't see the anime, if I see that the anime is good I will stop seeing the anime and start with the manga exept for those cases where the manga is an adaptation of the anime. In poor word I will tend too always see the original format, for that reason lately I have been interested to read the novels that some cases give birth to the anime.

for example I won't start reading the manga of the new season of last exile

I would like to suggest to everyone the manga SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN (sorrh for the caps but in a tablet is a bit hard to copy texts).
