well, I recently upgraded my technical status to an actual animation program, which is toon boom studio 5, the program I used to animate "introductions". but for about five years, I animated with microsoft paint and windows movie maker, that set up was very challenging but it sure taught me the patience required to animate. lol.

this was my final project to animate with ms paint:

and for a paint project, I think it came out pretty well. sure took me a while, though. I never had photoshop, but I naturally assume that if windows movie maker can play pics drawn in ms paint, I'm sure it can be used with photoshop to animate.

Hi, new here but have been stalking this website for about a week now. Stuff's good, especially Cheese in the Trap and Ties of Compassion. As you can see, I am a big fan of the slice of life/school genre :)

Keep up the good work!

hey, those were pretty cool. lol. I like the bearded clown one. you should make some cartoons. I really don't like it when people judge a cartoon or animated film solely on the animation quality, it's only a mere piece of what makes a cartoon a cartoon. look at "dexter's laboratory". did you ever watch that and realize how little animation is actually there? I once watched an entire dexter segment without seeing any walk cycle from dexter himself. I think you can definitely make some entertaining cartoons.

really a million thanks ,,, i like it when someone praise me, you konw, when i saw clown's head at first,,,i automatically think "hey you, i don't like your head,, let me help you "

What programs do you use to make cartoons? Can you make a cartoon with the photoshop suite?

me too i used paint and movie maker ,,be based on 24pic/second ,, that make your handshake swell badly
last year i tryied to imitate drawing with photoshop , (not bad as a result)

haha, yeah, animating without a drawing tablet is HARD. using a mouse and keyboard to rotoscope is one of the toughest things I've ever done...editing out all those pixels manually....one shot was like a week job.

I'm sure you will make it big! Such talent doesn't go unnoticed. It is nice to see you are so devoted to something.

I showed them to my cousin, who is also studying design, particularly animation. He was extremely surprised that you animate so well without a tablet. He is eagerly waiting for your new videos. XD

Seems like you got a new fan. ^_^

Why don't you try adobe flash? I just tried it and I found it extremely good to work with, especially if you are animating something.

Cartoons are a part of life, aren't they? I still can't forget a few that I used to watch! xD

haha, oh no, I have upgraded my animation program and I'm using a drawing tablet now. thank god..lol. "the trail" was my final project done with neither of those, and that was quite the challenge...if you or your cousin, or anyone else would care to see, this was my first project done with toon boom animation studio and the tablet...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kFTsOzC8xk

overall, it's not that good, although there are some pieces of animation I can say I'm proud of. lol.

and of course, "Introductions can be a pain" was animated with toonboom and the tablet, which I've already linked...

but yeah, thanks so much for passing pieces of my work around, I really appreciate it.
