@pucca91pucca: when Jung says, "as expected from you, you were here", do you think that line could indicate that he actually knows the grandson? That look Jung gives grandson from the bottom of the stairs could be shocked recognition.
Just when I think Jung is a really great guy, something like this creeps in and makes me doubt. The day he confessed to Sul and she thought she saw a hand in the alley, I always thought Jung's expression when he looked in the alley was suspicious. Even though he tells Sul nobody's there, what if he saw somebody and told her he didn't?
Now I think Jung's part of a conspiracy to scare Sul out of her apartment, but the grandson went too far!
My theory probably isn't true, but it's fun to know that the author could still make Jung into a bad guy if she wanted to.
Somewhat.. I also thought something is suspicious for a second..like Jung knows something or know him because I assumed that money was from Jung or something. But I understood this was faar imaginary thoughts..since that money was Sul's.
When you remind me that look of Jung that day..mm Idk...But actually I dont want to believe that Jung knew beforehand everything to shoo Ap Huh+neighborhood guy couple and Sul from everything becasuse its dangerous..?
I dont think so.. He wouldnt go that far..you know..
Actually loved him being badass XD
Yeah, I don't want to think of Jung being that evil either, not when he's being so cool this time. But that smile the 'landlord' gave him
did creep me out. It was kind of a 'thanks for letting me go' smile. But I thought it was more that he was thanking his luck that Jung was the kind of man who was more concerned with shielding his girlfriend than trying to be a hero and start a fight on the stairs where Sul could have gotten stepped on or kicked. I was really happy Jung stayed with her. In Ho would have ploughed into 'landlord' right there on the stairs, but Jung protected Sul first. I think Jung also trusted In Ho to stop him and that's why he stayed with Sul until Bo Ra and Jun arrived to take over.
Just to be sure though, I checked some of the raw chapters with the 'landlord. I don't have every encounter listed, but I tried to find all of the early ones, so let me know if I've missed any of his early sightings.
Season2 Chapter 41. Sul has a date with Jung near her place. They run into Joo Yong and that's when they first find out how they all know eachother and Jung discovers that Joo Yong is effeminate and clingy with Sul (not sure he knows he's gay at this point but he's very confused by Joo Yong's behaviour and he wasn't last time they met). 'Landlord' hits AP Huh on the head
S2 Chapter 31 (not about "Landlord") In Ho walks Sul home b/c of pervert sighting in neighborhood (wait, it is kind of about him). They run into Jung outside her place. In Ho is very angry at Jung for cutting off In Ha b/c he's friends with Sul. He starts to swing at Jung. Jung stares him down without blinking. In Ho withdraws his fist with a look of fear on his face (Jung is going to obliterate 'landlord'! In Ho is
that scared of Jung)
S2 Ch 23. Landlord talks to AP Huh in the rain. Mentions other men around Joo Yong (I think. I didn't cross-reference with Yuko's translations).
S2 Ch 21. Sul notices her window screen is broken. She asks Joo Yong if he can fix it, and he calls the landlords grandson to fix it. They leave and she notices some of her panties are missing.
S2 Ch 20. Sul feels scared walking home but turns down In Ho's offer to walk her home. She sings "Kissing You" to feel better. Jung calls and she rushes over to meet him near her place for a slurpee.
S2 Ch 18. Sul sees someone's hand in the back alley. Jung looks but says he doesn't see anyone. He helps her pick up her books. She has a flashback about him scaring her when she dropped her papers. He asks how long she's going to hold that against him. He asks her to date him and she agrees.
S2 Ch15. AP Huh yells at Joo Yong about his drinking and not studying properly. He storms out of his place and runs into the Landlord's grandson. AP Huh starts to accuse the 'landlord' of being Joo Yong's other man. AP Huh quickly leaves when he learns his identity. The 'landlord' tries to say something about the cigarettes left outside Joo Yong's door.
S2 Ch 14. Bo Ra's place is broken into and her Victoria Secret undies are stolen. Yuko posts hilarious videoclip of people breaking in and snatching your panties lol!! (good memories).
S2 Ch 12-13. Jung and Sul shop for present for Bo Ra. Jung picks out funny bear keychain with wild hair that reminds him of Sul (which he keeps). He buys her the lovely hairclip she admired.
S2 Ch 11. Jung and Sul have good heart-to-heart about their fathers.
S2 Ch 10. Jung swiftly kicks In Ho in the shin without moving the rest of his body at all. Lol! He tells In Ho to stay away from the people he knows.
So I think Ch. 15 is the first time we meet the landlord's grandson (or 'landlord' as I'm calling him for short). Anyone see him around earlier? I think Jung is innocent of any wrong-doing in this case. His relationship with Sul was just budding when the 'landlord' appeared on the scene. But he was doing very well, so he had no need to scare Sul to get closer to her. I don't think they know eachother at all. My only theory if they do know eachother is that Jung hired him to be the landlord and watch out for Sul. Then he would be super-pissed to discover he hired a criminal. But I don't think he did. He didn't approve of Sul letting the 'landlord' in to fix her window when she told him about it. If Jung knew him he would trust him to fix Sul's window.
