Part 2 Chapter 41: Encounter (2)

Continuing from the last chapter, AP Huh is hit by an unknown assailant. As he watched AP Huh groan in pain, he mutters: "How annoying. If you don't live in that place, you should've left earlier, right? Well, I've always kind of wanted to hit you once since a long time ago. Disgusting idiots. There are plenty of girls - why in the world would two men cuddle up with each other... Everytime I see you guys from outside, I'm feel sick." He goes through AP Huh's pockets, spits at AP Huh, and then escapes.

On the ground, AP Huh reaches out for his cellphone and calls someone, but nobody picks up. As he lies on the ground, he wonders what is so wrong about him being with Joo Yong. He thinks that there are people much worse than him out there - people who flaunt their wealth, people who attack innocent people walking by like this, people who crush others just for their benefit, or people who insult others just because they don't like them. He wonders what is so wrong about him and Joo Yong. He then remembers how his mother yelled at him: "How can you do this to me?! Do you know how hard I worked to raise you?! Yoon Seop, it's a lie, right? Right? Yeon Seop.... You'll get sick* and then you'll die!!!"

He then remembers the time he and Joo Yong first met. Yoon Seop told Joo Yong: "God, I don't like you!!! You're ugly, and you boast about your money!!" But at Joo Yong's disappointed look, he added on: "Th...then... I'll have lunch with you. But don't contact me after that..." He then blacks out.

Meanwhile, Sul picks up Joo Yong's phone. He mutters something about him being a "retard." Sul notices that his phone is turned off and puts it by his side. He continues to rant about how he thought about returning home.

At the same time, In Ho is wandering down the streets. It seems as if he is lost. When he finally finds his way to Sul's place, he sees a body on the ground. He sees the blood, and feels sick. A woman then walks by and screams. In Ho yells at her to call 911. He then covers Yoon Seop's face with his jacket. The woman is calling 911 at the same time. She is panicking and crying.

When Sul and Jung drag Joo Yong home, they see a police car nearby. She wonders what is going on, but Joo Yong gets sick and almost throws up. Afterwards, they drop Joo Yong off at his place. Jung and Sul then talk about how it's surprising that Sul lives next to Joo Yong. Jung tries to leave, but Sul wonders if it'd polite to offer him coffee or something. She offers to make some coffee for him, but he laughs, saying: "Next time." After he leaves, Sul hears Joo Yong snoring in the other room, and goes into her own.

The next day, Sul sees Joo Yong and tells him that they had drinks together yesterday. Joo Yong is very confused and out of it. Just then, a man walks up to them. He is from the police station and is a detective. He asks if they live nearby and when they reply that they do, he asks if he has seen anyone strange in the area. Sul asks if something happened, since she saw police cars all over the place yesterday. He replies that someone was attacked yesterday. He asks once more if they saw anything, and they reply that they haven't. He leaves, asking them once more to contact the police if they remember anything. Just then, a lady from upstairs screams: "Wait a minute!!! Please wait! That person!!! That person!!!! That person with the glasses on!! He's a pervert! He's a pervert!! He looked at me strangely before! Take him away!"

* I'm assuming that Yoon Seop's mom is talking about STDs.

okay so uhm, I kind of love AP Huh/Yoon Seop right now. His little flashback with Joo Yong is adorable. aaaand he's probably got the worst luck out of all the characters so far. Can't contact his boyfriend, mom doesn't approve of him, kinda got caught stealing from a student so he's kiiind of blackmailed, and at work, there's the guy who's blackmailing him with his "annoying" girlfriend... and now he's attacked by a homophobe.

yep, I kind of feel bad for the dude.

Sul was so cute when she is hesitating what to do! ^^ Jung looked kinda disappointed first since Sul didnt say anything, but then he looked gentle~~. At least Sul tried her best I think he felt happy but he knew that Sul wasn't ready for this. I mean they are not so close yet and if Jung comes Sul's home, she would have an heart attack from nervousness. XD

Poor Yoon Seop :/ I hope this incident will make Joo Yong to get together at last. Human theatre or not, but Yoon Seop needs support too, especially now.

I'm wondering if his real target was not AP Huh, but Joo Young. Some one mentioned a while back that if you got rid of her neighbors then there would be no one to hear her scream. Seems like he's been stalking her for a while since he knows about Ap/joo but doesn't seem to interested. I laughed at the end when that lady claimed Joo was a pervert cause it's only going to get Sul alone faster. Stuff is hitting the fan hard.

I agreed with you, poor AP Huh had too much bad luck. Hopefully things turn better soon. And yet more bad luck pouring at Joo Young. That neighborhood seems full of weirdos.

I was wondering where In Ho, in hospital with AP Huh or in the police station?

OMG I totally didn't even think about him trying to get Sul alone. So it must be the landlords son with him mentioning him being outside and always seeing them. I thought it was weird that it would be a simple hate crime, so what he really wanted to do is get Joo Yong out of the way.... What is with Sul and the crazy stalkers!? She's cute, but damn.

I think it is the landlord's son as well since Not many people know about the relationship between AP and Joo Young...maybe only people who observed them or seen them together a lot... and he met them a lot... From what he said it did seem like he wanted to target Joo Yong but he wasn't there and AP was there so he changed his target... I kind of hate Joo Yong, yea he is in a bad situation but he should be there for AP... since they both are kind of fall apart..

God damn, the world is really scary, I think I will avoid lonely streets even more from now on!

I'm so sorry for AP and Joo, there story becomes sadder and sadder. I hope they will hurry and make up, decide to move together in a new place without any homophobes near. So they will be able to take care of each other and cheer each other on. They more than deserved it to become happy already!



And, isn't it the 42th chapter already?

Gosh! I also really feel sorry for the two! I hope their issues are resolved soon.
I wonder why Soonki decided to write about the issues of a gay couple? Maybe she knows a few gay people herself?
