I also agree:
1. Jung saw someone in the alley (hence the shocked expression).
2. He has no romantic feelings for Sul (yet) and has an ulterior motive to ask Sul to go out with him so suddenly. Maybe to decide on her reaction to see if she is already going out with In Ho? (which is why he gives up so fast after her initial rejection)Or perhaps it's to let that lurker know of their relationship.
3. After leaving Sul behind he goes to "take care" of that person in the alley

About the mystery person hiding in the alley:
* Both Jung and Sul know him/her
* Jung doesn't want Sul to see/speak to that person
* He/she has been waiting for Sul, or dirty alleys are his/her natural habitat.

Last year I think there were only 3 persons Jung could have manipulated into attacking Sul. The stalker is having a drink with the annoying senpai, the other is a girl whom I doubt likes to lurk in dirty alleys, and the last one is the homeless woman Jung gave money to and who attacked Sul in the library. I put my money on the homeless woman.

wow...this chapter really surprised me...
I didn't think he was going so confess for a while yet, but suddenly...BAM, and they're a couple...
Hmm...I'm really confused about Jung's expression when Sul grabbed him. I'm thinking it could be either disgust and\or shock...? GAAHHHH!!! I don't know anymore~~~
Also, the allyway...personally, I think it could be Sul's stalker from the past, oh something (forgot his name). If you think about it, he does seem like the sort of person to hide in alleyways. He is a rat after all. but it could also be AP Huh, maybe because he went to visit the neighbour(forgot his name too)...and then saw Jung and Sul...and then got scared of Jung...AND THEN HID IN THE ALLEYWAY!!!!
Just maybe...I don't know.

Gawd...I think my brain is overheating...

i don't think there would be any Stalker story in the next chapter or any other chapters so soon in the future, i could be wrong though. it just doesn't seems like the author's style. most of the time we read too much into things and predicted all kind of out come, but nothing happend at all. when something min, (Sul's coppy cat girl) appeared coppying everthing about Sul we predicted all kind of things, but nothing happend. when oh young something, the stalker from last year, reappear we were going wild wondering what he would do next, but untill now he's still staying quiet. the author usaully slowy buit up the story and doing nothing too dramatic. i think next chapter might be Sul and In ho making up or Sul and Bara talking about what had happened or it could even be a story about Un tae , (i cannot spell his name, the guy who has a crush on bora who is the only 100% pure guy in the Cheese family).

Jung's expressions? I don't know. i mean how many of his expressions that has not been doubted by us. almost all of his expressions are being interpress into some kind of dark meaning, even when he was looking at Sul's picture smiling to himself. maybe because we had seen some of his bad background so everything he does seems to have a bad motive to us, but sometimes maybe he just being himself. lately he has been easier to read, more than in the past anyway, because you can tell when he feels happy or uneasy. he doesn't always hide everything behind a smiling mask and act like nothing happened. When the head phone accident when Jung caught Sul from falling reminded the fall accident of her first year, Jung's unhappy face was shown same as the file accidnent that has just happend in this chapter. i don't know, he cold be thinking someting, but it doesn't mean he's plaining something bad. well, my point is, his expression from his confession might not be as bad as we all thinks.

Many charactors has pointed out that Jung was interested in Sul, like Mo na, Bo Ra, Ap huh, and many others. at first we all doubt it, however in this chapter he confess to her. i still don't know how much he likes her and some of Jung's chocking opanion about relationship could turn up, (it's the author's specailty to surprise us) but right now i think he really likes and respects her as a friend.

First off, I'm really late in joining the discussion. I was in the middle of a trip, but I'll just say, getting to the hotel in the evening and reading Yuko's awesome summary made all the headaches I had gotten that day go away. So with much sincerity, thank you Yuko!

What's really creepy this chapter is that Jung showed that he knew what Sul experienced last year all along. That's really scary, because it shows that he really did do something back then, and it wasn't just some honest misunderstanding. D: He also showed that he's fully aware of how much Sul analyses personalities all the time. This means:
1. He's aware that she was analysing him (negatively) last year.
2. He probably kept his current behaviour under control this year, precisely with that in mind.

Just how in the world did things reach this point?

How's your trip?

you have a good point, but that also show that Jung's very honest with Sul because he doesn't deny what he did or try to cover it up like nothing happen.

Well, it involved a lot of car trips, and I happen to get easily car-sick. xD So I had major headaches by the time I crawled back into the hotel. It was a work trip, so nothing particular.

You're right about Jung being honest, but the way he's being honest is also very sneaky. xD He "admits" to his faults by noting that he gets why Sul's nervous around him, but at the same time he doesn't specifically mention any incidents. Since he never left any evidence, it's not like Sul can start pinning specific events on him. x)

Well, she already jumby around him, if he went into details of last year events, something that sul have no idea about, she would run like she was caught on fire, lol. also, those events are the mystirous that keep the story interesting.
