We thought you should know about this: We are going to remove a few (5) webtoons from Webtoon Live.
We are doing this because of various reasons:
- We'll remove the Best Challenge manwhas who upgraded to webtoons (see this
post if you don't know the difference):
We only have two of them on our website, "Crepuscule" and "Pinocchio". Those webtoons aren't available in Korea anymore for a good reason (They will never be finished, they'll come back as webtoons,...) So we'll remove them for the same reasons from WL too.
-We'll also take Daum's webtoons off of the website, I already hear you asking "Why?"
It's simple, Daum is seeking world domination :p so they have the license for every existing language... Hosting them would make WL clearly illegal, that's not what we want ^^. And to make it even worse, Daum already stated that they won't tolerate people scanlating their webtoons.
Fortunately for us, we don't have much daum's webtoons on the WL reader and we don't scanlate any of them :p
The two only remaining webtoons on WL from Daum are: "Marionette" and "Banquet Box". And we are planning to take them down too... But it hurts my heart :'(
-We will also remove the webtoon "magician", who is now licensed by
iseetoon. This webtoon is available in English, so if you want to support the author you know what to do ^^
That was all I had to say, ... No, I forgot something important, all those webtoons will be removed next weekend. If you want to read them,... HURRY
Just so you don't misunderstand, I was only talking about 5 webtoons we have to remove. All the others webtoons we have will stay on WL, and that's still plenty of them
